Include consumers/persons in recovery on advisory bodies on issues related to treatment and recovery
The CMHS National Advisory Council has a subcommittee of consumer/survivors advising the CMHS director - and SAMHSA - on issues of concern to us. This is the only such body in all of HHS, and should be replicated at the SSA and other agencies that impact our lives and recovery - beyond SAMHSA.
