Need long-term funding for rural kids with consistent providers, not revolving door approach.
The transient nature of our rural population contributes to high incidence of mental health needs. Funding needs to be consistent and LONG TERM so that kids received services in a predictable way. Perhaps the funding could include transporation costs for the provider, as our area has few licensed professionals in private practice.

Suggest you support the implementation of a Patient Centered Medical Home, where there can be team based services for all health needs.
This is particularly critical for children with special needs, where care continuity is lifesaving. -

This is true. But the practical solution to this problem is were to find the funding. This topic needs to be investigated further, (i.e. is there the possibility of a grant?) What are other avenues of funding.
