Seriously? The dangers of LONG TERM use of SS/NRIs far outweigh the benefits. Modest efficacy in severely depressed only, not in mild to moderate depression. Worsening of depression, Antidepressant Apathy Syndrome, increased risk of cardiometabolic diseases, Parkinson's, vision problems, in addition to the dangers already noted. Birth defects and developmental delays from fetal exposure.
Very little knowledge among medical community about safe taper/discontinuation methods.of these neurohormones.
Please do not attempt on own!

Seriously? SSRIs have been a huge part of what has allowed the pharmaceutical industry to get a tighter grip in our communities. The drugs are being shown to increase risk of suicide particularly in younger people, increase miscarriage and birth defects and to do serious medical harm for many adults as well... Most importantly, they don't particularly seem to be showing long-term positive effects that are better than exercise or many other supports that have far less health risks.

Child abuse is rampant and we aren't working enough to raise social consciousness as we once did. We also have a blind spot about the damage done to children with parents/caregivers who are abusing cannabis, prescription drugs, alcohol, and other drugs. We need to break the denial with more awareness programs.
